Top driving songs for Mum

As it’s Mother’s Day coming up later this week, we thought it would be the perfect opportunity to share with you our favorite top driving songs which mums are sure to love. Are you planning on taking mum out anywhere nice this weekend to show her that you all care?  If you are, then get extra Brownie points by letting her choose the tunes for your journey. Mums – what do you think of these tracks? Alanis Morissette - Ironic Which lady of a certain age hasn’t popped on a bobble hat during the winter and sang along to Ironic from Alanis Morrisette? Yes, she may have abused the word – which in itself is ironic – but it’s still a great track, and was around for ages in 1995 along with loads of other tunes from her massive album Jagged Little Pill. © You Tube The Foundations - Build me up Buttercup This fantastic soul classic from 1968 is a sing-a-long favourite. It has been covered a few times but it’s this version which is the best. It featured on the film There’s Something About Mary in 1998. Do you like this one? © You Tube Lighthouse Family - Lifted The Lighthouse Family were always a little bit Marmite but this is a great tune – smooth, easy, and with some nice riffs. Perfect for a smooth, easy drive. © You Tube The Spice Girls – Wannabe “If you wanna be my lover, you gotta get with my friends (gotta get with my friends) Make it last forever friendship never ends” 90s girl power at its very beginning – Dad should be afraid. Very afraid. What exactly is a ziz-a-zig-ah anyway? © You Tube From The Daily Mail: Catchiest Song of all Time? Robbie Williams – Rock DJ A thumping tune from the bad boy of pop. You heard him – it’s time to move your body! © You Tube http://www.robbiewilliams.com/ Wishing you a happy Mother’s Day from all the Xtrons team!
